The extruder barrel screw adopts the barrel cleaning agent. If the injection product is replaced frequently with material or the plasticizing temperature range of the residual material and the refueling in the barrel is large, in order to save raw materials and improve work efficiency, the barrel cleaning is adopted. The agent is relatively economical. The special cleaning agent is a kind of rubber-like material. It is not melted at high temperature in the barrel, and is softened in the thread groove of the screw. When the screw is moved forward in the thread groove of the screw, the residual material can be taken away to make the barrel It is cleaned up inside.

The extruder barrel screw accurately weighs the required wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy, and then heats it to melt. The barrel body that has been heated to the specified temperature is taken out of the furnace and quickly placed on the centrifugal casting machine for high-speed rotation. The melted wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy is quickly poured into the body cavity of the high-speed rotating cylinder, and the wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy is condensed and integrated into the body wall of the machine body by centrifugal force. The barrel resistant to wear and corrosion of the barrel that has been bimetal-cast is cooled, and then the inner bore of the barrel is ground.

The extruder barrel screw is in the worn portion, the liner can be replaced, and the extruder barrel is usually replaced with the entire liner, so maintenance costs are more expensive and thus not cost effective. Once the screw is worn at a certain point, the melt returns to the thread, causing the screw and barrel to wear further. Severe wear can result in a large amount of resin being wasted and reduced productivity. However, by periodic PM testing, severe wear can be prevented. Zui's good maintenance strategy is to keep the screw/barrel clearance within a reasonable range.
