The maintenance of the extruder is divided into daily maintenance and regular maintenance. The operation content of the daily maintenance of the extruder is the operating procedure rules and operation precautions in the extruder production operation, and the operator must be carefully executed. The extruder can be regularly maintained and maintained according to the load and working time of the extruder. Generally, it can be carried out once every six months or one year. The maintenance work is carried out by the repair fitter and the equipment operator. The contents of the work are as follows:

1 Clean and wipe the oil on each part of the extruder and the dust in the electric control box.

2 Disassemble the gear transmission reducer and bearing gland, check the wear condition of each transmission piece; observe the change of the quality of the lubricating oil and make up the amount of oil in time; if the oil contains more impurities, it should be filtered or replaced.

3 The worn gear should be mapped, and the bearing should be recorded. After the operation, a spare parts production or purchase plan should be proposed, and the time should be arranged to repair and replace.

4 Check the V-belt wear condition and adjust the center distance of the V-belt equipment (requires that the V-belt drive operation is important and appropriate); if the V-belt wear is severe, it should be replaced.

5 Check the wear of the barrel and screw. The inner surface of the barrel and the outer circumference of the screw thread have slight scratches and friction marks. They can be ground with fine oil stone or fine sand cloth to achieve flat lubrication. The barrel and screw working surface (inner cylinder inner diameter and screw outer diameter) are recorded. Measured scale.

6 Detecting and proofing the heating temperature of the barrel (measured by the mercury thermometer) and the appearance of the temperature error value to ensure the correct operation of the operating temperature of the extruder.

7 Adjust and test each safety alarm device to ensure the reliability and accuracy of its operation.

8 Check and test whether the various infusion lines (water, gas and lubricating oil) are smooth, and repair and dredge the leaking and blocking parts.

9 Check and test whether the connection of each power transmission line is strong, and whether the safety grounding protection of the electric control box and equipment is strong.

10 Check, test the heating equipment, cooling fan and safety cover in the correct orientation, and make necessary conditioning corrections to ensure that the extrusion screw can work correctly and efficiently.
